At the outset, both the technical and cultural prerequisites for a scaled deployment of AI were comprehensively assessed. In parallel, a structured review of the current state of existing and planned AI initiatives across the organization was conducted to identify overlaps, gaps, and strategic opportunities, thereby creating a robust foundation for defining the future direction.

Result

As a result, a company-wide AI manifesto was developed that clearly articulates the organization’s ambition and consistently aligns the AI landscape with its strategic objectives. Building on this, a concrete implementation roadmap was created, clearly defining responsibilities, governance, and team structures, thus establishing the conditions for effective and scalable execution.

As part of hands-on training sessions, participants were introduced to innovation methods and collaboratively developed digital approaches to systematically embed sustainability across the value chain. At the same time, a strong focus was placed on actively engaging employees to build a shared understanding of ESG and twin transformation and to deliberately foster commitment to sustainable innovation.

Result

As a result, initial concrete approaches for integrating digital solutions to enable a more sustainable value chain were developed. In parallel, the team’s innovation mindset was strengthened, and employees were actively empowered to independently advance sustainability topics and translate them into future implementation initiatives.

It was grounded in an in-depth market study that analyzed key market developments and systematically addressed the core strategic questions shaping the company’s digital future. As a result, a clear, company-wide digital strategy was defined, articulating the strategic focus areas, ambitions, and differentiation levers.
