Zurich/Munich, August 12, 2026. Nunatak has operated its own office in Zurich since 2022. With Philipp Tenbieg, the strategy consultancy is now reinforcing its local leadership. Tenbieg brings more than 20 years of experience in management consulting and spent much of his career in the Swiss and Luxembourg financial sector.

Philipp Tenbieg, Managing Director Switzerland at The Nunatak Group

"Many Swiss companies left the AI experimentation phase behind long ago. The decisive challenge now is to move successful applications out of the pilot stage and scale them across the organization. That takes more than technology: strategy, processes, and organization have to work together for AI to create measurable value. This is exactly where Nunatak comes in. I look forward to advancing this approach in the Swiss market together with our clients." – Philipp Tenbieg, Managing Director Switzerland at The Nunatak Group.

From 2008 to 2020, as Co-Founder and Co-CEO, he built TALOS Management Consultants from launch to 45 employees and roughly CHF 12 million in annual fee revenue across its Zurich and Luxembourg offices. In 2020, the company was sold to AWK Group, today Eraneos.

Following the sale of TALOS, Tenbieg held various leadership roles at AWK/Eraneos and served on the Executive Board of AWK Group in 2022. Most recently, as an independent consultant to UBS Global Wealth Management, he supported the integration of Credit Suisse and UBS. Earlier in his career, he worked for PwC, b&m management, and Accenture, among others.

"We see growing demand in the Swiss market for AI-driven strategy consulting, and we want to address it far more consistently with a dedicated leadership role on the ground. In Philipp Tenbieg, we are bringing on board an experienced consulting entrepreneur who has known the Swiss financial sector for many years and has already proven that he can build and scale a consulting business successfully. His experience and his network are a strong basis for our continued growth in Switzerland." – Manuel Halbing, Managing Partner at The Nunatak Group.

Tenbieg holds dual German and Swiss citizenship and lives with his family in Kilchberg on Lake Zurich.
